H.M.S. Indefatigable logbooks, 1808-1811.

These two logbooks were kept on the H.M.S. Indefatigable under the command of Captains John Tremayne Rodd, Henry E. Reginald Baker and John Broughton successively on cruises off the coasts of England, France, Holland and Spain during the Napoleonic Wars. Entries were made between October 6, 1808 and April 13, 1811. Logs were kept by Lieutenant Edwin James until June 15, 1810 and by Lieutenant John Fortescue Morgan after that date.
